A Party With a Purpose

MiH is ending 2021 with sophistication and dedication to serving. Join us for a Sip, Taste and Be Merry after work event.

Minorities in Hospitality would like to share some joy and give back at the same time. On Monday, December 6th we would like to cordially invite you to join us for an elegant experience that will get you in the mood to spread cheer. We will be sampling Rob B Wines of B Legendary Wine Boutique (www.wineandcandlesllc.com) with the culinary pairings of Executive Chef, Jack London.

Our night will be filled with an opportunity to mingle with our members, enjoy great food, drink, music, giveaways and support a local non profit initiative.

MiH is proud to partner with the Angel Tree Christmas Drive started by Kim Hinds over 10 years ago. Their purpose has been to provide Christmas gifts and other needs to low income families. Working with churches and IPS schools to select children and families with the greatest needs, ATCD has served over 800 children and 50 families by supplying them with Christmas gifts and food baskets. It is Kim's hope to be able to provide 200 backpacks and an abundance of school supplies by December 14th.

The admission of $50 per person supports the purchase of backpacks and requested supplies. Each purchase includes:

  • a mini bottle of Ron B Wine

  • six wine tastings and food pairings (vegetarian option available)

  • and more.

  • We will also have an opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for a romantic weekend getaway courtesy of The Horizon Center.

If you would like to make an additional donation or in lieu of attendance, Minorities in Hospitality will accept monetary donations through this link.

To make actual purchases please review the IPS 56 supply list: https://app.teacherlists.com/.../22273-frances-w-parker...

Donations are needed for grades 6-8 and the wish list. Email MiH for details on a drop off location or pick up for purchased items: info@minoritiesinhospitality.org
